L’acétal est souvent utilisé pour la fabrication de
coussinets, de pièces de machinerie et de convoyeurs.
Il est aussi présent dans le domaine médical ainsi que
dans les secteurs de l’alimentation et de l’optique. / Acetal
is often used for the manufacturing of bearings, machinery, and
conveyor parts. It is also present in the medical industry and in the
sectors related to food and optics.

CARACTÉRISTIQUES / CHARACTERISTICS

• L’acétal est offert en noir ou en blanc (conformément aux normes sanitaires FDA). / Acetal is
available in black or white (FDA compliant).
• Il est reconnu pour son excellente usinabilité, pour son faible coefficient de friction et pour
son très faible taux d’absorption d’eau. / It is known for its excellent machinability, low coefficient of
friction and very low water absorption.
• L’acétal est comparable au nylon et profite d’un excellent rapport qualité-prix. / Acetal is
comparable to nylon, and benefits from an excellent quality-price ratio.
• Le Delrin® AF, avec un additif de Téflon®, est également offert. / Delrin® AF, with a Teflon® additive, is
also available.
